Chicken Skewers with a Greek Twist
Let's start flavorful chicken kebabs made with Greek flavours. Additionally, the marinade is fantastic on grilled vegetables.
Step 1
Stir together lemon juice, oil, vinegar, onion flakes, garlic, lemon zest, Greek seasoning, poultry seasoning, oregano, pepper, and thyme in a dish and pour the resulting liquid into a resealable plastic bag.
Step 2
You should coat the chicken with the marinade, get rid of any air within the bag, and then shut it. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Step 3
Turn the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Step 4
Take the chicken out of the marinade and shake off any leftover liquid. Use skewers to thread the meat. Remove any remaining marinade. Arrange the skewers in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for 20 minutes to achieve a golden brown colour.
Note from the Chef:
Grilling the skewers is also an option. To start:
- Prepare a grill for medium heat.
- Lightly oil the grate before placing the food on it.
- Coo the skewers on the prepared grill until the internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit when measured with an instant-read thermometer (74 degrees C).
